To start the program, unpack the downloaded program archive into a selected directory and open the executable file NTC_Server.exe
.
In the NTC Server program settings, specify the computer's open port and click the START button. The program is ready to receive data from the device. Then, power up the pre-configured device and connect it to the computer where the server emulator is installed.
Upon establishing a connection, the program window displays the connected device and its information:
In addition to device information, the program window shows incoming data packets sent by the device and outgoing packets sent automatically by the server emulator or on command.
Each incoming packet can be parsed, meaning the information sent by the device in hexadecimal format can be displayed in decoded form.
The Properties section allows sending commands and queries (requesting device model and current status, sending commands to connect with RFU and RCS, input line blocking, and output line control). It also displays the device's status at the time of receiving the last data packet.
In the Temp folder located in the program's root directory, log files for each device are stored.
To exit the NTC Server program, press the STOP button and close the program window.
