¶ Overview
The "Auto Informer" function is intended for automatically informing passengers about stops using loudspeakers and information displays.
¶ Component Requirements
To use the "Auto Informer" function, an audio-frequency amplifier must be connected to the LOUT line-level audio output.

To avoid interference and noise, the device GSM antenna must be located as far as possible from the device input connector, amplifier, speaker, and the wires connecting them.
The "Auto Informer" function also requires a microSD card installed in the device. The card stores WAV audio files (stop announcements, advertising information, etc.) and configuration files.

¶ Uploading Audio Files
To upload audio files to the microSD card, remove it from the device, insert it into the computer's card reader, and launch NTC Configurator. The device itself does not need to be connected to the computer. The Audio Files button will become available in the program window.
After clicking it, select the drive corresponding to the microSD card and add the audio files.
In the same window, audio files can be renamed (double-click the description) or deleted (select the checkbox and click the Delete button).
Each WAV audio file is written with a unique ID. Therefore, when attempting to upload the same file again, no warning will appear indicating that the file has already been written to the card. When files are deleted, their IDs are released, and newly uploaded files take those IDs.
To correctly finish working with audio files, either change the drive (switch to the empty item in the drop-down menu) or close the audio file editing window.
If the microSD card is removed from the computer before these actions are completed, the information on it will not be saved correctly.
¶ Settings
All settings on the 12. Auto Informer tab, unlike settings on other tabs, are stored on the SD card and therefore are not displayed when exporting the entire configuration. To load the Auto Informer settings, click “Load from SD Card”. After changing settings on the “12. Auto Informer” tab, click “Save to SD Card” to apply them. Auto Informer settings can be saved as a separate file on the computer or a previously saved settings file can be loaded from the computer by clicking “Save to File” and “Load from File”.
