¶ General Overview
Main window of the NTC Configurator program:
¶ 1. New Configuration
When this item is selected, the device creates a basic configuration template.
If, at the time this button is pressed, a connection to any device is established via USB or the Internet, the configurator automatically creates and opens a template in the format required for working with this type of device. Otherwise, the configurator displays a window for selecting the configuration type.
¶ 2. Open Configuration
When this item is selected, the device opens a previously saved configuration file.
If the opened file is not a configuration file, the configuration window will not open.
¶ 3. Remote Connection
The button is available only if a connection to any device is not established.
The configurator allows you to work with the device remotely.
Detailed description¶ 4. Telemetry
The button is available only if a connection to any device is established.
In the "Telemetry" window, you can monitor the current device status, read accumulated data from non-volatile memory (black box), and request the device status for a specified date and time.
¶ 5. View Telemetry from File
An XML telemetry file read from the device can be opened in view mode for device diagnostics.
It will be opened in page-by-page mode, where each telemetry record is displayed in the same form as the information in the "Telemetry" window.
¶ 6. Read Configuration from Device
The button is available only if a connection to any device is established.
When this item is selected, the configurator reads the current device configuration and displays it in the configuration window.
The read configuration can be:
- edited;
- saved to a file;
- uploaded to the device;
- closed without making changes.
¶ 7. Device Firmware Update
The button is available only if a connection to any device is established.
When this item is selected, the configurator opens a dialog for selecting a firmware file.
¶ 8. Advanced
The "Advanced" menu is a list of auxiliary modules, subprograms, and commands:
¶ Restart Device
The button is available only if a connection to any device is established.
When this item is selected, the configurator sends the device a command for immediate reboot and disconnects from the device. If the connection was established via USB, the connection to the device will be restored immediately after it reboots. If the connection was established via the Internet, the remote connection procedure described in the corresponding section must be repeated to restore the connection.
¶ Show Logs Window
The button is available only if a connection to any device is established.
Log recording is not supported during remote connection
When this item is selected, a window opens that allows you to obtain diagnostic information about the operation of device modules and external interfaces.
¶ Send Telemetry Data to Server
When this item is selected, a window opens that allows previously saved device data to be sent to the monitoring server using the configurator.
¶ Command Window
The button is available only if a connection to any device is established.
When this item is selected, a window opens that allows any arbitrary command or USSD request to be sent to the device.
¶ Audio Files
When this item is selected, a window opens that allows you to edit the list of audio files on the SD card intended for use in a device with the "Auto Informer" function.
¶ 9. Program Settings
When this item is selected, a window with a description of the program settings opens.
¶ 10. Help
When this item is selected, the help window opens.
¶ 11. About
When this item is selected, a window opens with brief information about the program and the versions of its libraries.
