Unlike other models, the S-451x and S-401x devices do not have a built-in microcontroller.
The device firmware is executed on the LTE module chipset (SIMCOM).
Because of this, these devices have several important features and limitations.
¶ Drivers
Since these models use a new driver type, the necessary drivers may not be present when first connecting to a PC or a laptop.

One of the features of these models is increased power-on time, which also results in a longer connection time to the configurator.
While most devices power on in about 2 seconds, these models may take up to 10 seconds.
¶ Internal Battery Voltage
This information applies only to models with a built-in back-up battery.
These models do not have a voltage sensor for the internal battery.
