¶ Overview
The "Locator" function is used to provide an alternative source of coordinates using internet services.
Currently, integration with the Yandex Locator service is implemented.
To use the function, several steps must be completed:
- Obtain an API key for the Yandex Locator service
- Update the configurator and terminal firmware
- Configure the "Locator" function in the terminal
A detailed description for each of these steps is provided below.
¶ API Key
An API key is used to receive coordinates from the service.
To obtain one, you need to register in the Yandex developer account.

Fill out the form and proceed to the API
- API request counter and current daily limit
- Section for changing the tariff plan (to increase the API request limit)
- API Key. This must be copied for use in the terminal configuration.
