To read CAN bus data, CAN interface must be enabled. Also, when connecting for the first time, it is recommended to use Passive Mode of CAN bus operation.
All necessary settings are made in the device configuration on the CAN bus tab.
File selection function is available both in the CAN bus direct reading mode and in the log player mode.

Function of selecting the decoding file via CAN Spy works without writing the file to the device, therefore, it can significantly reduce the time for selecting the file and checking the values that will be received from the CAN bus during operation.
Always check the correctness of the parsed values according to the readings of the vehicle dashboard and other standard sensors.
Ability to select a file in the log player mode allows you not to delay the vehicle after editing to select the most appropriate file. You can write the log (see the article CAN bus logging) and let the vehicle go with the device connected. Select the required file, and then remotely write it to the device (see article on remote connection).
