The device supports communication with IQFreeze (IQF) over the following interfaces:
The RS-232 interface supports a limited set of IQFreeze parameters and requires minimal configuration.

The RS-485 and CAN interfaces provide access to all IQFreeze parameters but require additional configuration.
IQFreeze can be connected using a single interface or multiple interfaces simultaneously (data is collected independently through each interface). The device then combines the collected data and sends it to the server as a single dataset.
If you are using IQFreeze Lite (which provides data from external temperature sensors), use either the CAN or RS-485 interface.
If you are using IQFreeze connected to a refrigeration unit, we recommend using RS-232. If the standard parameter set is not sufficient, additionally connect RS-485 or CAN.
The connector designations shown below are taken from the IQFreeze documentation.
