Several configuration methods are available for connecting to the JSC GLONASS server:
A brief overview of each configuration method:
Recommended
Supports multiple servers and remote configuration using only one JSC GLONASS SIM card.
Not available for S-242x devices.
Alternative
Supports multiple servers and remote configuration but requires two SIM cards (a JSC GLONASS SIM card and a standard SIM card).
Available only on devices with dual SIM support.
Simplified
Uses only a JSC GLONASS SIM card.
Multiple servers and remote configuration are not supported.
Available on all device models.

The device operates using only the primary SIM card.
At the beginning of the operating cycle, the device applies the special APN, connects only to the Primary Server, and remains connected for the duration specified by the timer.
When the timer expires, the device automatically switches the primary SIM card to the public APN, synchronizes its time with NTP servers, communicates with DRC, and connects to any additional servers configured in the device. Once archive upload is complete, or when the timer expires (whichever occurs first), the device restores the special APN, reconnects to the Primary Server, and continues normal operation until the next timer cycle.
Additionally, whenever the device receives a command from RCS or DRC, it temporarily switches to the public APN, connects to the service infrastructure, and, after the session is complete, restores the special APN to continue communicating with the Primary Server. During this service session, the device may also synchronize its time via NTP and communicate with any configured secondary servers.
